Warranty
Two years, covered
Every Emberford product carries a 2-year warranty from the date of delivery against defects in materials and manufacturing.
If something fails because of how it was made, we replace it. No charge, no return shipping cost to you.
What's covered
- Valve and mixer failures, and internal leaks
- Finish defects — blistering, flaking, or corrosion under normal use
- Cracked or split housings not caused by impact
- Threads that fail to seal despite correct installation
- Spray mechanisms and mode selectors that stop functioning
- Sliding brackets and fixings that corrode or fail
What isn't covered
- Mineral buildup. This is water chemistry, not a defect. It cleans off — see our care guide.
- Finish damage from abrasives or bleach-based cleaners. Particularly on matte black. Please don't.
- Damage from overtightening. Hand-tight is correct. A wrench crushes the washer and causes the leak it was meant to prevent.
- Improper installation — including wall-mounted columns connected to outlets that were not properly prepared
- Impact damage, or normal cosmetic wear
- Consumable parts — filter cartridges and washers
How to make a claim
- Contact us with your order number and photographs of the fault.
- We'll respond within one business day. Photographs usually settle it immediately — we rarely need the item back.
- Where a replacement is due, we ship it at our cost.
Proof of purchase is required. Your order confirmation email is sufficient — you don't need to have kept anything else.
Replacements, not repairs
Bathroom fixtures aren't economically repairable, so a valid claim means a replacement unit rather than a repair.
Where a product has been discontinued, we'll supply the nearest current equivalent or refund you at the original purchase price, whichever you prefer.
Consumable parts
Filter cartridges and washers are consumables and aren't covered — they're designed to be replaced periodically.
Transferability
The warranty covers the original purchaser and is not transferable. It doesn't apply to items bought secondhand or from unauthorised resellers.
Beyond two years
If something fails outside the warranty period, tell us anyway. We aren't obliged to do anything, and sometimes we won't — but we'd rather know when a product hasn't lasted, and we'll often help regardless. It's how we decide what to change in the next version.
Statutory rights
This warranty is offered in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under applicable consumer law in your jurisdiction.
